Moriz Jung (1885–1915) was an Austrian illustrator and printmaker affiliated with the Wiener Werkstätte, a leading force in the Viennese Secession and modern design. Known for his humour, precision, and inventive spirit, Jung created visually striking works that bridged fine art and applied design—particularly in postcards, posters, and packaging. His style distilled form and character with remarkable clarity and wit.

Though his career was tragically cut short during World War I, Jung’s work continues to resonate. Both Bulldog and Greyhound exemplify his ability to blend personality, stylisation, and modern graphic sensibility—offering timeless examples of illustration as both design and art.
